About Uneven Breasts
Almost every woman has differences between their right and left breasts.
Sometimes even within the same body! We see many women who have one large and one small breast, or they have breasts that re very differently shaped one side from another.
Size, shape, position of the crease, size of the nipple/areola and amount of droop can be very different. Those differences can make it difficult to find clothing, or be in a bathing suit. Being naked can also be traumatizing.

What about other procedures?
Many women opt to combine a secondary procedure with their asymmetric breast or tuberous breast correction surgery. Most of the time, nipple correction is included, but a breast lift or breast augmentation can also be a part of your treatment plan if you desire. During your consultation, it’s important to talk about all your cosmetic goals so we can create a cosmetic plan that is right for you.
How long do results last?
The results of asymmetry correction or tuberous breast correction are long-lasting, and many patients only need one correction surgery. However, if one breast is naturally large, it may drroop at a different rate than the smaller breast, even if that breast has an implant for size improvement. If a breast augmentation with implants is included, then the implants may need to be replaced at some point to maintain optimal results. Breast implants generally last for 10 – 15 years. It’s also important to maintain a healthy diet as weight gain can alter results.
