Stress-free Wedding Planning

It was the moment I had dreamed about, and I answered him, “Yes!” Feelings of excitement and joy took over and I forgot where I was standing. We were finally engaged. Not much time passed before these thoughts faded, and my mind filled with others: I have to plan a wedding! What will I wear? I need to lose weight! My skin must be perfect. I want to look and feel the best I ever have in my life! As a bride-to-be, I’m the first to admit that looking good and feeling fabulous are my top priorities. I thought I’d share a few tips I’ve picked up in case you or someone you love want to look your best on the Big Day (or some other splashy event)!

Grow your lashes. At least four months before the wedding, start using Latisse®. Longer, fuller, and darker lashes will brighten your eyes. It’s easy to use, and the results can make a world of difference. Enhancing lashes is at the top of my list!

Keep active. Exercise is a great way to relieve the stress of planning a wedding! To make sure I can fit it into my day, I’ve added it to my morning routine. By laying out my workout clothes the night before, I can jump out of bed, go for a half-hour jog, and be ready for my day.

Enhance your skin. Blemished skin is a bride’s biggest nightmare! (Did you see My Big, Fat Greek Wedding?) The good news is that you can dramatically improve skin tone and texture in time for the big day! Fortunately Allegro MedSpa offers brides a complimentary pre-wedding consultation to customize a skin-care regimen that works with your budget.

Reduce stubborn fat bulges. If you have a persistent belly bulge that you can’t get rid of, I have good news! CoolSculpting®! At least 2 months before the wedding, address your problem areas with CoolSculpting®. CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive, no-downtime treatment that reduces fat bulges by 20-25%! It takes effect after 2 to 4 months, so book your appointment in time to look your best for your wedding.

Take a break. This might be the hardest of them all (at least it is for me!). Log off Pinterest. Put down your phone before calling another friend to discuss wedding plans. Instead, do anything you find relaxing that is non-wedding related, like reading a book or taking a walk. Breaks are crucial to minimizing stress during this time.

Schedule an Intraceuticals Oxygen Treatment. An Intraceuticals Oxygen Infusion two to three days before the wedding will give your skin the ultimate glow. Popular among celebrities, this red-carpet treatment can hydrate and plump your skin, leaving you looking radiant for the wedding photos. This is my favorite treatment before any big event!

Spend time with your partner. Remember? That person you are going to marry? It’s easy to lose sight of the big picture when planning a wedding. I have to remind myself to spend time with my partner and talk about things other than the wedding. When the wedding is over, and all the guests are gone, we will only have each other. And, in the end, that’s really what it’s all about.

Thank you guest blogger, Abby Sappin!
