Deepa Bhat, M.D.

Aesthetic Surgery Fellow

Doctor Bhat attended the University of Michigan on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors in 2011 (she is a Wolverine at heart!). She completed medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago and went on to complete an integrated plastic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center in New York. Dr. Bhat also completed a one year research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University focusing on clinical and translational tissue engineering.

She is passionate about aesthetic surgery and very excited for her fellowship year. Her research interests include tissue engineering, social media, patient education, and gender/racial disparities within surgery. In her free time, she enjoys boot camp workout classes, reading mystery novels, spending time in the sun with her husband and mini goldendoodle, Theo!
