We saw this 14 year-old boy in our Santa Rosa office requesting an otoplasty (ear pinning). He was about to start high school and he felt that this would be a good time to address his prominent ears, before meeting new friends in high school. At surgery, both the antihelical fold and his prominent concha (ear cup) were treated with permanent sutures. His postoperative photos show a more confident smile and a boy ready to enter high school.
